GW2 Will Dedicate Its Twitch Channel To Music From Icebrood Saga Starting Friday
The next chapter of Guild Wars 2, No Quarter, won't have voices, but it will have music -- and ArenaNet is showing off that music, as well as the music from other recent chapters. Starting this Friday, the GW2 Twitch channel will stream music from the previous four chapters of the Icebrood Saga, as well as a preview of the music from No Quarter. The stream will run until May 26, when the new content launches.
Also, in preparation for the next chapter, which will feature a large, open-world meta-event, ArenaNet has penned a blog piece explaining that, well, open-world events exist! And you should do them to learn more about the story and lore of the world! It's the sort of thing you might have expected to see before the game launched, eight-ish years ago, but for new players -- and some older ones -- it might serve as a reminder that progress in GW2 isn't just about finding the next spot on your map to hit up.
If you need to prepare in a more tangible way, previous Living World chapters are 30% off in the Gem Store, and you can get a free Black Lion Miniature Claim Ticket each day for the next seven days. Other items are returning to the store for a limited time, so check out all the offers on the GW2 site.
