Gunslinging Sylphs, a.k.a. "Teenage Elves," Arrive In Lineage 2 Essence
Europe's Lineage 2 Essence server got a fresh update yesterday, adding a new race, sylphs, and class, gunslinger. The sylphs "look pretty much like teenage Elves," but unlike their bow-wielding "elders," they like using guns (kids these days ...). They're not all just about killing things, though; gunslinger sylphs can also heal their allies, so they can serve a dual purpose in their parties.
The update also adds a new limited-time inter-server location, Hellbound, where you'll face down epic bosses with your clan. Hellbound is only open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturdays, as it is "enveloped in a thick cloud of poisonous vapors" at all other times.
You'll also gain special rating points while battling monsters during regular Purge events. The goal is simple: "kill as many monsters as possible in specific locations." Players who slaughter the most will get unique weapons. You're already killing monsters galore, so why not get specially rewarded for them?
Finally, if you're looking for a change, why not take advantage of a free class and race change? Level 76 and higher characters can do that for the next month by purchasing a free coupon in the 4game launcher. Learn more about Lineage 2 Essence and its new update on the 4game website.
