Guild Wars 2's Upcoming 10th Anniversary Will Be Celebrated At Gamecom And PAX West
Meet some devs, grab a drink or two, and vibe out in these two venues.
Guild Wars 2 is approaching ten long years of service this year and ArenaNet is showing up to Gamescom and PAX West to celebrate the milestone with its community. Each venue has different activities, but no matter the location, you'll meet some devs and get some cool merch for participating.
The Gamescom venue will start on August 25 at 7 p.m. Central European Summer Time and ends at 10:00 p.m. in Cologne, Germany. The event is free, but unfortunately, venue capacity is limited. Fans can reserve a ticket tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time to secure a spot. Those who secure a spot will receive their ticket through Eventbrite and must bring a photo ID and the mobile or printed version of the ticket to enter. There will be drinks, some chatting, and occasional raffles at the venue for fans. You can learn more about the event details from Eventbrite.
PAX West is quite different from the Gamescom venue. It's more of an activity for fans called "Tyrian Stamp Rally" rather than a chatty sit-down. From 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time on September 2 and 3 in Seattle, Washington, fans will need to go up to level 4, Paccar Room 6, and meet the Guild Wars 2 team to receive a stamp book. The stamp book is a 10th-anniversary postcard book of Guild Wars 2 art throughout the years and has a list of four locations. Fans will travel to these locations to get their stamps and head back to Paccar Room 6 to pick up some Guild Wars 2 merchandise.
