Guild Wars 2 Reveals End Of Dragons' Shing Jea Island
"A harbor of tranquility and peace."
"Cantha when?" was the mantra of many an old-school Guild Wars player the moment they set foot in Guild Wars 2. The official answer is "February," but if that's too long to wait, ArenaNet has a trailer out today that shows off Shing Jea Island, one of the new Canthan locations that's coming in the End of Dragons expansion.
Billed as "a harbor of tranquility and peace," Shing Jea Island is located to the southwest of the mainland of Cantha and is home to lush vegetation and Asian-themed pagodas, temples, bridges, and more. It's highlight feature is the Shing Jea Monastery, where "many of Tyria’s greatest heroes began their journeys" -- or, for those who started with GW2, it's where new characters in the Guild Wars: Factions campaign got their start.
That "tranquility and peace" is likely going to be shattered by the events of the expansion, some of which you might get a glimpse of during a stream on the official GW2 YouTube channel this Friday at noon Pacific time.

Yes, I would very much like to try this one.

You can play Flappy Hawk in a browser to get additional rewards while you wait for launch time.

It's MOBA-like, but thing more "Escape from Tarkov" with MOBA gameplay instead of guns.
