Guild Wars 2's Retro-styled Super Adventure Box Returns
Challenge the Storm Wizard and rescue the princess!
The dragons may be ended, but there's still a Storm Wizard to conquer. Guild Wars 2's Super Adventure Festival is back for another year, sending player characters inside an 8-bit world on an epic journey to save the princess -- or, if they prefer Tribulation Mode, on an epic journey to fall from as many high places as they can. Wait, what do you mean that's not the objective? But I'm so good at it!
Gameplay is essentially identical to previous years of the Festival. Enter the portal in Rata Sum to be taken to the lobby where you can select your difficulty level and the world you want to start your adventure in. You can play alone or with other players, jumping and smashing your way through the various levels, collecting Baubles that you can turn in for loot from vendors near the portal's entrance.
Learn more about the Super Adventure Box, which runs until April 19, on the Guild Wars 2 site. You can also check out the complete set of notes for today's patch, which makes competitive balance changes to each class, on the GW2 forums.
