Guild Wars 2 Looks To Crown World Beetle Racing Champion
Are you the best beetle racer in Tyria? If you think so, you'll have the chance to prove your mettle in the Beetle Champions League, a special competition taking place over the next few weeks in Guild Wars 2.
The event is open to all player on NA and EU servers and will consist of regional qualifiers, finals, and a world finals. The NA qualifiers take place on February 20 and 28 at 2:00 p.m. Pacific, while the EU qualifiers are on February 21 and 27 at 10 a.m. Pacific (6 p.m. UTC). Survive those to race on a custom-built track on March 6 (NA) or March 13 (EU), with prizes including Sunrise, The Juggernaut, or The Flameseeker Prophecies.
The World Cup final event takes place on March 20, where the top 12 competitors will take on "a blistering gauntlet of six custom guild hall racing circuits." Prizes include a Festive Confetti Infusion for the winner, with a Queen Bee Infusion and Frost Legion Infusion for second and third, respectively.
