Guild Wars 2 Living World S1 E4 Returns With The Tower Of Nightmares For Free Today
Earn new rewards while putting a stop to the poisonous scheme of a Tyria famed villain
The story continues with Guild Wars 2's latest episode of Living World Season 1, which is free for all players today. Players will relive the dramatic ascent of the Tower of Nightmares as poison breaks out across the land. Players will have to climb the tower and embark on a new challenge as they unveil the nightmare.
Tower of Nightmares will consolidate much of the original 2013 experience into a single narrative episode while adding new achievements and new rewards like the Antitoxin Gloves and the Lucid Dreamer’s Dagger, a sidearm inspired by investigator Kasmeer Meade.
As some may know, Season 1 marked the beginning of the Living World content–nearly nine years ago. Created initially as limited-time story and gameplay events, Season 1 brought Guild Wars 2 players into the world of a wide cast of characters that would later form the very foundation of Dragon’s Watch and begin the elder dragon storyline that reached its conclusion with the recently released End of Dragons expansion. Now, the complete chronological history of Guild Wars 2 will be able to be played from the very beginning to the end for the first time.
The final episode of Season 1 will come to the game for all players free of charge in Q4 2022. Players that would like to download Guild Wars 2 for free can do so here.
