Grab New Trunks And A Mini Sea Turtle And Hit Up The Festival Of The Four Winds In Guild Wars 2
Queen Jennah of Kryta introduces races, battles, and more events offering new rewards.
There's nothing quite like relaxing on a beach. If you can't do it in real life right now, at least you can do it in Guild Wars 2 as the MMORPG starts the 2024 Festival of the Four Winds today. Queen Jennah's events include races, a boss blitz, and other challenges, but the rewards include a new set of Beach Trunks and a mini Sea Turtle you can hang out with in the sun on the shore.
Taking place in the Labyrinthine Cliffs and the Crown Pavilion, the Festival of the Four Winds is open to players of any level and while you can access the areas from either Lion's Arch or Divinity's Reach, the team makes it very easy to jump into things via your mail. You should have an invitation that allows you to teleport directly to the action.
Events include treasure hunting, beach racing, a Boss Blitz event, and a one-on-one arena called the Queen's Gauntlet. Completing events fills your meta-achievement progress and earns you Festival Coins to spend on rewards like the aforementioned trunks and turtle.
The Zephyrite short bow, torch, and warhorn, can also be found inside Blessings of the Four Winds containers. The Sun-Blessed versions of the weapons can be purchased from Zephyrite weapon enchanters, too.
The Festival of the Fours Winds runs until August 20th.
