SGF 2022: Get A Look At Inflexion Games' Survival Crafting Game Nightingale With A New Gameplay Trailer
The trailer was part of today’s Summer Game Fest stream.
Players looking for a survival game with a twist may be interested in checking out Inflexion Game’s Nightingale. The game, highlighted today during Summer Games Fest, introduced Realm Cards, a system of navigating the universe. Players wishing to travel via the game’s mystical portal network will need to craft these cards which can then be used to conjure a new world. Of course, it isn’t just a matter of slapping one of these cards down. Players will need to be thoughtful about it.
The Realm Cards are an interesting addition to a crafting-focused game and, as with most crafted items, require players to gather resources from all over the place. These resources will imbue the cards with different attributes, such as environment types, weather patterns, and even more resources – which can be used in making different cards.
Players can get a good look at the cards in question in the trailer below. It also offers more information on survival gameplay features, estate building, combat, and more. And yes, the game is mostly single-player, but it also offers online co-op.
