Before Blade & Soul NEO released, I sat down with the team to get the "lay of the land" for the upcoming MMORPG. Part of that conversation talked about how future patches would work. Since Blade & Soul is still a thing, would NEO follow the same story? The short version of their reply was that yes, it would...at least for a while. See, the team is leaving open the possibility that NEO could not just improve systems and graphics over the original, but it could also chart a new course story-wise, but that would be later.

It looks like Blade & Soul NEO isn't waiting very long to get started as the team plans to drop their first update next week on March 11th. Moonwater Plains Part 1 brings a new level cap of 50, the new map the update is named after, more story content, and the new Blackram Supply Chain heroic dungeon. PvE players specifically get some solo content by ways of Mushin’s Tower and PvP players get a new 6v6 mode with 3 different ways to win.

It isn't all just about this update though. Moonwater Plains Part 2 and 3 are already scheduled for release, too. Coming in April and May respectively, both updates will continue to drop new content throughout the spring and summer. The roadmap below charts the path, so it looks like if you're enjoying the updated NEO version you should have plenty to look forward to and not much time between each update to wait.
