Gamigo AG Merges With Aeria Games
Leading European game publishers gamigo AG and Aeria Games announced a merger agreement earlier this week. Combining the two companies will bring together a portfolio consisting of popular free-to-play games, including Echo of Soul, Fiesta Online, and Desert Operations, as well as a variety of mobile games.
The merger will expand both companies' reach to over 40 countries, with a foucs on Europe and North America. As part of the deal, Aeria Games' parent company ProSibenSat.1 will grant 100% of its stake in Aeria to gamigo AG and become a minority sharehodler in the merged company.
No name for the new company has been announced as of yet.
