Final GW2 End Of Dragons Beta Event Unlocks All Nine Elite Specs And Siege Turtle Mount
A turtle built for two!
The final Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons beta event before the launch of the expansion in February kicks off tomorrow, with all nine new elite specializations available for players to try out. The co-op combat mount, the siege turtle will also be playable, letting players cruise through Tyria with a buddy on top of a giant reptile. Really, that's all I want for Christmas.
As with previous beta events, players will receive temporary character slots to create the new elite specializations, which will be playable throughout Tyria in all forms of content. Check out our previous coverage (#1, #2, and #3) to find out what each one has to offer.
The siege turtle will be new to everyone this time around, and it's more than just a slow-moving tank. You'll raise your turtle from a tiny hatchling. Once you've raised it to an adult and unlocked all its capabilities -- which probably entails some kind of mastery grind -- it will have jump jets and room for a gunner who can crew its cannons.
The final End of Dragons beta begins tomorrow, November 30, and runs until December 4. Learn more about the event on the Guild Wars 2 website.
