EverQuest Producer’s Letter Reminds Thornblade Players To Prepare For Server Merge And Looks Ahead
It includes a brief preview of what to expect through September.
We’re officially halfway through 2024 and, with that in mind, the latest EverQuest Producer’s Letter includes a short roadmap of what’s to come in the next three months. As we know, Darkpaw Games is continuing its “Year of the Darkpaw” celebration in the MMORPG, offering players monthly items. Players can also expect new doors to open in the Anniversary Tower over the coming months.
Aside from that, there are some other things happening. The Death, Death, Death event will return in July alongside the Living Legacy Raids. In August players can expect the Extra Life incentives announcement and the return of the Stone Cold Summer event. September brings the return of the Talk Like a Pirate Day event.
Players on Thornblade are also reminded that the server merge with Mischief takes place this month.
Finally, there was a bit of a tease for the upcoming expansion, The Outer Brood. Yes, it’s Dragon-themed. Players can also expect creatures that speak a “long-dead language” to attack Norrath. They’re not offering much beyond that.

They weren't the only company added in the annual update.
It all starts this Friday.
The update promises new abilities, suits, and an “all-new group of superheroes”.
Weirdly, their previously published visual comparison trailer has gone private on YouTube, but you can find it elsewhere.
