EverQuest Producer’s Letter Details The New TLP Server Ruleset
The new ruleset will be Expanded Start.
A new EverQuest Producer’s Letter has been posted on the F2P MMORPG’s site, taking a look back at the past three months and providing a roadmap through June, which includes things like additional 26th-anniversary content, a progression server launch, and a Pride month giveaway.
A large portion of the letter is dedicated to the new TLP server ruleset, which will be Expanded Start and include Resource Hunter, Encounter Locking, Legacy Characters, and True Box. The latter will be removed later on. Expanded Start will begin with Ruins of Kunark, Scars of Velious, and Shadows of Luclin unlocked. They will also be level-locked to 50. Resource Hunter will provide daily, zone-wide bonuses via a limited number of randomly chosen zones.
Players will spend 24 weeks in the first three expansions of the game. After that, the level cap will increase to 60. Then, 12 weeks after the increase, more areas will unlock, and the level cap will increase to 70.
Those wanting to take part will want to get their names registered. A full schedule for registrations can be found in the Producer’s Letter.
