EverQuest Launches Outer Brood Pre-Order, Expansion Beta Test Is Up
Pre-orders are available now as well.
Today, Darkpaw Games announced the launch of the beta test for the upcoming Outer Brood expansion in EverQuest. The expansion, detailed in the last Producer’s Letter, will arrive in December. (No, we don’t have an exact date, but the pre-order page promises it will be before December 31.)
During the beta, players of the MMORPG will have a chance to check out the six new zones – including a lost area between Freeport and Nektulos as well as a castle built by dragons. There are new raids, quests, and other playable content. Of course, players can try out the new race/class combo in the Dark Elf Ranger. Yes, you will be rewarded for participation in the beta. Your exclusive goodie will be the Paper Bag hat Ornament, which can be transformed into an actual hat.
Of course, pre-orders are available now. Those who purchase the expansion will receive three Azure Scalewrought Weapon Ornaments in addition to beta access. Bundles start at $34.99.
