EverQuest's 26th Anniversary Brings Back Past Events And Rewards While Dishing Out Some New Ones, Too
Jade seems to be a common theme amongst the rewards.
It may be kind of surprising that EverQuest is already celebrating the MMORPG's 26th birthday. After all, didn't they JUST celebrate the 25th anniversary? It took me a moment to remember that the team at Daybreak Games celebrated the 25th anniversary all year long with the Year of Darkpaw events. In a handy bit of "mixing old and new," you'll actually be able to take part in events and gain rewards that were part of last year's Darkpaw celebration. The Anniversary Tower is back, and rewards you missed may be found in the marketplace if you missed any of those past monthly giveaway items.
On the "new" side of things, the 26th anniversary brings a 50% experience bonus until April 1st and a Blade of Jade Ornament that can be converted to a staff or shield ornament on a per character basis. You can claim this prize until April 20th. Those of you that are All Access members also snag a Jade Prowler Cub, a level 100 Heroic Character, and a Goblet of Adventure II.
Six new quests are available until April 10th and some additional content returns, including content for max level characters. The anniversary site breaks it all down for you.
