Elsword’s Next Big Update, And 20th Region, Takes Players To The Demon World
“Serpentium” is the game’s 20th region, a place filled with powerful enemies.
Today, Gameforge announced that the next major update for its free-to-play side-scrolling MMORPG Elsword will take players into the Demon World. Titled “Serpentium”, the expansion introduces the game’s 20th region. There, players will explore new dungeons and fight technologically advanced foes.
The expansion introduces three new dungeons: Mirage City, Robofoundry, and Madame Corae’s Garden. As one can guess from the names, each of these dungeons will be unique. The first is a metropolis with a floating fortress. The second is a stronghold filled with autonomous warriors. Finally, the last is a domain designed to be beautiful and lure visitors into a trap.
Players need to have completed the Epic Quest: Enter Serpentium to gain access to the new area via the Basteel Base. From there, the long journey will eventually take them to Serpentium Tower, where they will fight demons in the upcoming Serpentium raids. These raids include two additional dungeons with two phases each.
Of course, raids and dungeons mean rewards. Expect to pick up an all-new armor set, the Exascale armor, either crafted from rare materials found in the dungeon or via epic quests. The armor can be enhanced via new systems being introduced as part of the update. Serpentium Launches March 12.
