No, there won't be a pre-load for those that just jump in on launch day.

Just two days to go before those of you that purchased a founder's pack will be able to enter the gates of Solisium and check out exactly what Throne and Liberty offers players. The MMORPG had a bit of a delay from their original launch plan, but that two extra weeks is coming to an end as early access will fire at 1 PM EST on the 26th, with a full launch to follow on October 1st.

Those 5 days of early access are reserved to those that bought a founder's pack, though, and the clock on being able to buy those to gain access is quickly winding down, too. If you do decide to buy one after the 26th (but before the 1st obviously), yes, you will be able to download and jump into the early access period.

If you already own a pack, you can pre-load the MMO in just a few hours. Starting at 1 PM EST today, the 24th, you can get the game installed and ready to go on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.

In a bit of a weird move, though, there will be no pre-load for the October 1st full launch. The team's post says that this is due to the fact that early access servers will be live. That makes it sound like the team doesn't have a way to flag founder accounts versus non-founder accounts, which is weird. Yeah, if you plan to just jump in on October 1st's launch, then you'll have to bake in some time to download the game.

Early access and launch will also feature Guild Challenges on both the PvP and PvE fronts. Get your guild together and start working your way through group content to earn points. The top guilds on each server earn Ornate Coins for all players. Check out the currency breakdown we posted to see what you can purchase with these coins.

Finally, the team posted another kind of "Evolution of the MMO" post today. It treads similar ground to a recent article we posted, but it does shed a little more light on the enhanced leveling experience, skill acqusition rates, and other changes to progression the team added for launch.

See you at launch!
