"Dominance" Coming To Aion EU Classic With New Content For Both PvE And PvP Players
In fact, taking control of a fortress could make PvE dungeons free for your faction.
Aion EU Classic just keeps chugging right along and today the team dropped info for their next update, 2.8.5 Dominance. The MMORPG's patch will see two new instanced PvE dungeons added and the inclusion of the Apheta Battle Fortress for those looking for a little PvP action. In fact, should your faction emerge victorious in these scheduled fortress battles, everyone in your faction can run the two new PvE dungeons for free. The losing faction will need to spend Time Fragments to enter...unless they take over the fortress is the next week's battle.
While the official announcement just says the Dominance update is coming "soon," the trailer, included below, actually gives the date September 4th at the end. Take it for what it's worth.
Those at the new level 58 cap can hit up the new Wall of Lament and Tartarus dungeons. These dungeons are for parties and can be entered once a week. Remember, only the faction that currently controls the Apheta Battle Fortress can enter for free, others need to spend Time Fragments.
Want to take over Apheta? Make sure you clear your schedule as these battles are scheduled. Sundays at 10 PM server time, the battle ensues, so be there or be square.
The official site has all the details.
