Dirty Bomb Adds Steam to Closed Beta
No, Nexon hasn't taken their free-to-play shooter Dirty Bomb out of Closed Beta. They have, however, added a Steam client to their current Closed Beta. If you want to jump into the action, you're still going to need to sign up and hope you get a key from developer, Splash Damage.
You may remember Dirty Bomb for the drama its name caused of all things. Once partnering up with Nexon, Splash Damage swapped the game's name to Extraction only to later change it back.
Dirty Bomb takes place in a post apocalyptic London and emphasizes teamwork and strategy while claiming to eschew the "lone wolf" common in many first person shooters. The NDA has also been removed for Closed Beta so expect videos soon!
Dirty Bomb is expected to release Summer 2015.
