Console Marvel Heroes Players Get Elektra And Defenders Event, With Omega Prestige To Come
There's a lot happening today for Marvel Heroes fans on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. First, there's a new hero, Elektra, the 41st to grace Gazillion's Free MMO ARPG on consoles. She comes with with a new Hell's Kitchen loot box, which includes costumes for Elektra, Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Punisher.
The new Defenders Event also launches today on consoles -- two days after making its appearance on PC -- tasking heroes with fighting members of The Hand for various limited-time rewards. Learn more about this update on the Marvel Heroes site.
In the future, console players can look forward to the coming of the Omega Prestige system, which will let players unlock "Omega Prestige" status for select heroes, billed as "culmination of a hero’s journey" that "extends the leveling process considerably." Spider-Man will be the first hero to receive this benefit, with more heroes to follow after him.
