Celebrity Streamer Contestants Will Compete Across Three World Of Warcraft Classic Events On December 9th
The WoW Classic Variety Show is coming.
There's nothing quite like a little fun competition. On December 9th, Blizzard will be hosting the World of Warcraft Classic Variety Show on Twitch and YouTube. Celebrity streamers will be competing across three events during the show to establish Classic WoW dominance.
First up is the race to defeat Hogger on a fresh server WoW Classic server. Then comes a four-team race to clear the Blackfathom Deeps raid in Season of Discovery. Following all of that will be Mak'Gora Madness where 32 players will compete in a single-elimination bracket duel to the death on Hardcore Classic World of Warcraft. They are also bringing back the backstage activity Fast-Draw Duel during the show.
The show will be hosted by Xaryu, Sarthe, and Rookuri. Celebrity contestants include Annifuchsia, Savix, Palmbee, Ahmpy, Ziqo, Luuxia, Sonii, and HozitoJones.
It all takes place in the MMORPG on December 9th beginning at 10 AM PST.
Note: Activision Blizzard has been sued by California’s Civil Rights Department, alleging violations of California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act and Equal Pay Act. CEO Bobby Kotick is alleged to have known about the alleged violations within his company. These allegations have all been denied by Activision Blizzard and the company points to additional diversity and inclusion training as past examples of taking the accusations seriously at the time they were made.
