Celebrate 6,000 Days Of Lineage II
Rather than celebrating an annual anniversary, NCSoft has decided that Lineage II deserves a party for hitting the 6,000 days in service mark. There may be some significance here that I'm missing, but even if there isn't it still means free goodies for players and that's always a good thing.
The event is underway now and will run through October 14 on both the Lineage II and Lineage II Classic servers. During the celebration, players who logged into the game before August 31, 2020 will be gifted Celebration coins based on when their character was created. This can be anywhere between 50 and 700 coins.
If you hadn't created a character before that time, don't worry, there are still ways to acquire coins. Players have a full list of tasks they can complete, ranging from monster hunting to simply leveling up, in order to earn coins.
Once these coins have been obtained they can then be traded in for items like scrolls, a rare accessory pack, and an outfit appearance stone. Of course, you'll want to purchase whatever items you can before the event ends, because whatever coins you earn will disappear when the whole thing is over.
