Celebrate 15 Years Of Runes Of Magic With Boost Events, Goodies, And More
Now’s a good time to get caught up on your stats.
Runes of Magic is turning fifteen and Gameforge is celebrating with in-game events and goodies. The MMORPG's celebration kicks off on March 1 with the Necropolis of Mirrors event intended to help players who might be a bit behind on their stats caught up. This event will last until the 14th, during which time double the amount of Pants will drop from the Chest of Mirrors. This will be followed up by a hard version beginning on the 15th and running through March 27, during which time Lakishnas Earrings will drop from the Chest of Mirrors.
During the celebration, players will also receive special items from the daily login event and NPCs will appear in the game to offer players celebratory items as well. The NPC Tina will gift players 15 Coins of Petals daily. These can be traded to Owenstein, Hilary, Frank, and Eve for various items. Mobs in specific dungeons will drop Coin of Ice as well. The announcement doesn’t specify what these will be used for, that said, it does mention an upcoming creative event and promises more details later, so the purpose of the Coins of Ice may be revealed then.
