World of Warcraft Classic Call of the Crusade

Talk about a blast from the past. The Call of the Crusade update came to World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King right in the middle of my prime WoW playing days and contains some of my favorite content ever introduced to the game. Now it's coming to World of Warcraft Classic on June 20th.

Call of the Crusade will introduce new Titan Rune dungeons to World of Warcraft Classic where you'll take on a new higher-level difficulty in which creatures and bosses have a variety of dangerous new effects as well as additional health and damage. Bosses killed with Defense Protocol Beta active award loot from the 10-player version of Ulduar. The final boss will also award a new currency: Sidereal Essence. Sidereal essence may be exchanged for rewards from 10-player Hard Mode Ulduar gear at the Animated Constellation vendor in Dalaran.

The Trial of the Champion 5-player dungeon, The Argent Tournament daily quests, and Wrath of the Lichking PvP Season 7 all begin on June 20th.

On June 22nd, the Trial of the Crusader and Trial of the Grand Crusader 10 and 25-player raids will be available, as well as the Level 80 version of Onyxia's lair.

This week also sees the return of the 50% XP buff in the MMORPG.

World of Warcraft Classic players should prepare themselves to be very busy next month, as there's a ton of "new" content headed your way.

Note: Activision Blizzard has been sued by California’s Civil Rights Department, alleging violations of California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act and Equal Pay Act. CEO Bobby Kotick is alleged to have known about the alleged violations within his company. These allegations have all been denied by Activision Blizzard and the company points to additional diversity and inclusion training as past examples of taking the accusations seriously at the time they were made.
