Bunfest Returns To Trove As The “Trials Of Luxion” Update Drops
The Trials will reward players with items from the great dragon’s hoard.
A new update – or two – dropped in the F2P voxel-based MMORPG Trove today. Although, if you’d rather just think of them as events, that works as well, seeing as both the “Trials of Luxion” and Bunfest are only around for a limited time.
The Trials of Luxion is intended to be for those players who enjoy a challenge – and the associated rewards. In this case, players have until April 20 to complete the trials in order to earn rewards from the great dragon’s hoard. When attempting these trials, players will have their combat stats compressed and the game will punish them for dying. Also, blocks can’t be destroyed.
To attempt these trials, players will first need to craft some “Luxion’s Pact”, which will be needed to enter the Trials of Luxion Portal. While taking on the challenge, players will want to locate Lord Primalux and complete the three quests he offers. Once those quests are complete, they can choose to leave the gauntlet early and take what loot they have. Alternatively, they can continue for the chance to earn more.
On the softer side of things, Qubesly is waiting in the Hub to offer players the 2025 Bunfest quest. Go out and hunt eggs and egg-men and take on “Egg” Dungeons. Collect chocolate and craft new items. Also, keep an eye out for Golden Eggs that can be used to craft Gold Companion Eggs that will hatch into rare companions.
