Budgies Return To Rift, Get Your Race On Now As It Ends In A Few Days
3 days to score some mounts if you haven't already grabbed them on the last few event go-arounds.
Yeah, we know, it's not an actual Rift update, but it would probably be WAY too hopeful to think that the MMORPG from gamigo is going to get any of those any time soon.
Today sees the return of the Budgies. You remember, right? Those big ass birds that you can race around...no, not THOSE birds, the other ones.
Head to Meridian, Sanctum, or Tempest Bay, hit up the quest givers and prepare to get your race on. Stay in the marked path, hit all the white checkpoints, and dodge the orange traps while hitting the green speed boosts. Cross the finish line first completing Daily Quests and you'll earn Chaos Motes that you can use to actually buy the Budgie mounts if you don't already have them all.
The event only runs until the 23rd, but if you miss out on it, I wouldn't be too worried. This seems to be one of the more "recurring" events in Rift given that we just had this event back in August and here we are again.
