Blizzard Announces World Of Warcraft Classic: 20th Anniversary Edition
If you missed out on Classic’s original launch, they’re doing it again.
Blizzard Entertainment is offering everyone who missed out on the 2019 launch of World of Warcraft Classic a chance to live the experience with the launch of the 20th Anniversary Edition. The Anniversary Edition launch will include in-game engagement from the Blizzard GMs and offer players a chance for players to experience the MMORPG with everything being fresh – including the game’s economy.
The new realms will offer PvE and PvP action as players level up to 60. While there’s no rush to reach that level, anyone wanting to raid will need to be prepared for the Molten Core and Onyxia on December 12.
The Anniversary Edition will include quality-of-life changes that hit the original WoW Classic later as well as an option for players to choose between the more classic UI and the newer one. Players will also be able to create “Self-Found” characters right from the start.
