Blade & Soul's Steel Uprising Update Continues The Rise Of The Silversteel Story

Blade & Soul's next update -- Steel Uprising -- is slated to arrive April 22. When it hits, it'll continue the Rise of the Silversteel Saga with part 1 of the new Steelbreaker Raid. This 12-player raid is designed for players level 60 and over with a HM of 24. Players will also need to have completed the previous bits of the Silversteel storyline up to Chapter 5 in order to gain access.

Those who gain entry will have to enter the Steelbreaker and make their way through the ship, fighting off a number of mechanical creatures and automaton bosses. The latter have a chance to drop several new legendary items ranging from unrefined silversteel earrings or rings to a Steelbreaker soul shield.

In addition to the new story content and raid, the update also kicks off two new events -- Springtime Training and a new Awakened Raid event. Springtime Training will reward players with stars for completing daily and weekly challenges, as well as fishing for Angler's Pearls. These can then be exchanged at the Dragon Express for useful items. The raid event will grant players even more rewards for completing weekly challenges and completing specific raids.
