Blade & Soul’s New Update Brings Upsurge Weapons And Enchantment Bonuses
Blade & Soul quite literally bringing the blade in the New Empires update
New weapons are always a thing of celebration, but it’s even better when these weapons are not limited and are made for all classes to use and enjoy. Today, Blade & Soul added The Upsurge Weapons. These weapons are a bit special, as they will not be upgraded through stages. Rather, progression for these weapons happens via mythical enchantment only. I know what you may be worried about, what if the enchantment fails? Well, that’s the beauty of these weapons–the mythical enchantment level will not decrease upon failing the upgrade. Yay!
Players will be able to obtain these Upsurge Weapons as well as the Upsurge Essence required to upgrade the weapons as drops from the new dungeon, Hall of Trials. This update also brings new Enchantment Bonuses. Each bonus will provide a random enchantment effect that can boost a character’s stats, because, who doesn't love RNG, right? Still, If the enchantment effect players get is less than ideal, players will be able to re-roll it for a cost via the "Reset Effect" tab in the "Manage Equipment" UI.
Players can also look forward to new mythical accessories, an evolution progress system to make upgrades smoother, and a new Succession System. This system this will ensure players can transition existing gear into the new Upsurge Weapon Tier. Souls and Pet Auras will also get a new tier with this update, called Manifest Soul and Uproar Pet Aura.
