It's been about a month since NCSoft released Blade & Soul NEO, the graphically-improved and system-enhanced "new" version of their "OG" MMORPG Blade & Soul. Since that time, the game has already received its first update that raised the game's level cap and introduced the first part of the Moonwater Plains update.

While you may be having a great time on the NA servers, our EU friends have had their Cinderlands and Moonwater Plains servers under constant duress for almost half of that time. DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attacks have been pummeling those servers for about 2 weeks now. While players have been able to still "play," they've obviously had to deal with login issues, slow down in game, and other pains in the neck.

NCSoft has decided to drop those players a "preliminary" compensation package as a way of thanking them for sticking with things while the team works through the issues. The team advises that things aren't solved yet, though, and there will be more compensation coming later once the attacks have been beaten back.

Anyone that's played on the EU Moonwater Plains server between March 14th and March 25th will get a bundle including Daily Mission Crafting Material Chests, Daily Mission Growth Support Chests, Daily Mission Safes, and more. If you've been on the EU's Cinderlands server between March 18th and the 20th, you'll get a package, too. This one is a bit smaller due to players experiencing fewer issues on that server.

All items will be delivered directly to players and the team will announce additional "final" compensation when the DDoS issues end.
