Blade & Soul Celebrates Its Second Anniversary By Letting You Wear Cake On Your Head
Among the things I might be a little less inclined to wear on my head, a two-tier cake that looks slightly like the Devo hats would be one of them. That said, I suppose it's okay if my in-game character wears one instead. And, for those of you who are fond of dressing in confections, an anniversary cake might be the perfect anniversary gift from the Blade & Soul team.
The game is turning two and celebrating with a special Anniversary Festival beginning on January 17th. To kick things off right, the dev team is giving everyone a 2nd Anniversary Festival Gift pack filled with items from the Hongmoon Store. This pack can only be obtained once per account (so choose your character wisely) and it contains "once-in-a-lifetime rewards".
In addition to the goodies, there will be special anniversary themed Daily Dungeon Quests and Daily Challenges for players to complete. Both with offer limited-time rewards from the Dragon Express -- like the costumes seen here.
Of course, the upcoming update isn't all anniversary content. It also adds a special limited-time event version of the Blackram Supply Chain, wardrobe customization, and more. Head over to the game's site to read up on all of these features.
