Big Update Coming To Golf Game Shot Online March 15
A major update has been announced for the free-to-play action RPG golf title Shot Online by publisher Webzen. The expansion -- coming March 15 -- will expand the game's current storyline and add 160 new quests. Players will get to meet NPC André Lieu for the very first time and make use of the 'André's Knowhow' function.
In addition, the update will introduce two new bots designed to fill in when players are short team members or partners. AI Golfman is a bot that will appear when one of a four-player team leaves the game after the 9th hole of an 18-hole round, preventing the three remaining players from losing out on bonuses.
The second bot, named AI partner, will play entire rounds with a player, allowing them to reap the rewards of a co-op round without having a live partner.
A variety of other changes and additions have been included with the update, including an XP system adjustment between the Global and EU servers.
Webzen is celebrating the new update with several in-game events, starting with allowing existing players to boost their characters using Scenario Jumping books. Full details on the update and events can be found on the Shot Online site.
