BetaDwarf Entertainment Celebrates Minion Masters Launch With A Special Story And Giveaway
Today, after lots of ups and downs, Danish developer BetaDwarf released its third game, the skill-based minion combat game Minion Masters. The game released on Steam today, along with a new update that completes the core components of the game, fixing problems found in the pre-launch versions. The game also launched on Xbox One today, bringing it to even more players.
To celebrate the launch -- and nine years as a company, Betadwarf decided to do two things. First, they're giving away a ton of free key for their games. And when I say a ton, I mean it. All told, the company plans to give out 99,999 keys. If you can get the page to load properly (it's more or less being hammered at the moment), you can choose one of three games to get for free. In addition, they're also giving away $15 of Minion Masters DLC for free.
The second thing BetaDwarf did was to tell their story starting with how they claimed their first "office" by taking over a university classroom (without permission) and both living and working there. They go on to tell about the creation of their first two games and finally culminate in the launch of Minion Masters today. I won't spoil all of it for you, it's a fun read. So, if you're interested, head to their post on Imgur and check it out.
