Bashiok Announces Departure from NCSoft
Community Development expert Michah Whipple (known to some as Bashiok from his Blizzard days) has left his position at NCSoft. Whipple announced his departure from the company today via Twitter, stating that while he has time to play a lot of Red Dead Redemption 2, he'd appreciate anyone with tips on new opportunities throwing the info his way.
As of yesterday I'm no longer with NCSOFT. I’m fortunate enough to be able to take some time and reflect and refocus (and play a LOT of #RedDeadRedemption2). That said, I’m not taking this time for granted, so if anyone has opportunities/contacts feel free to slide into my DMs.

I'm going to avoid the whole 'speculating about why' thing in this post. There's not enough information here for that. The only thing I can say is that it does seem like it was a sudden event.
Either way, we hope he enjoys his reflective time playing RDR2.
