Azeroth Will Be Shattered In World Of Warcraft Classic’s Cataclysm Pre-Expansion Patch, Patch Available On April 30th
The patch introduces a changed landscape and new races.
Prepare yourselves. Cataclysm launches in World of Warcraft Classic on May 20. However, players will have to begin dealing with the changes Deathwing’s arrival brings when the Shattering of Azeroth pre-expansion patch drops on April 30.
The MMORPG’s patch introduces the Goblin and Worgen player races as well as new race and class combos. Leveling has been changed, with players playing level 1 through 60 in a changed Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms. And, of course, leveling updates also means new class talents, trees, and spells.
Other additions in the update include the Archaeology profession, the transmog collection feature, and updated character and gear stats. Full details on the patch as well as what to expect from the Cataclysm update can be found in the patch notes on the World of Warcraft Classic site.
