Avengers Assembled: Marvel Heroes Officially Launches
Marvel Heroes, Gazillion Entertainment's ARPG MMO has finally been released to the masses today. The game has been in development for over 3 years and features 21 playable super heroes, each with their own unique and extensive, power trees and equipment.
To celebrate Gazillion has released a new cinematic trailer that sets the stage for the conflict players must rise to face. The conflict in question stems from Dr. Doom and his incessant need to press cubes filled with untold power into people's foreheads, causing them to explode. I don't think migraine medicine can help with that.
As a Marvel fan, I have to say the trailer boasts some impressive 2D animation which fits the overall comic book style of the MMO.
Post launch Gazillion has stated they will be frequently releasing updates that add new content, including additional story missions, new heroes and end-game content.
You can take on the role of a superhero right now by heading on over to the official site or downloading the game through Steam. We plan on livestreaming Marvel Heroes tomorrow (6/6) during our Bomblive, so if you'd like to team up be sure to head on over to twitch.tv/mmobomb at 2 p.m. PDT.
