As Once Human Prepares For Tomorrow's Launch, The Game Announces How "Seasons" Will Work
We'll have to wait until tomorrow to see how it all breaks down, though.
Tomorrow is the magic day for Starry Studio's post-apocalyptic survival game Once Human. The F2P title is a third-person shooter that encourages you to work together or alone while you rebuild your own little slice of the world. The game has been one of Steam's most wishlisted games globally, but tomorrow we'll finally get to see if chasing down the mystery of the Stardust is worth your time.
Ahead of the launch, the game's "Seasons" were revealed in a new blog post on the official site today. Not only will each season come with new rewards and challenges, which is to be expected, but they'll also come with new storylines and durations. Your progress in each season will be transferred to "Eternaland" (your personal creative world) when the season ends. This includes blueprints and constructed homes.
The team hopes that seasons will also make it easier for new players to play with their more established friends and allow you to replay things if you have any regrets about your first playthrough. This means once you've played through a season's phase, you can replay it, jump to the next phase, or prep for the following season.
No word on potential cost of a potential "battle pass" or anything yet, though. We'll just have to wait until tomorrow.
In the meantime, check out a new PvE scenario video from the team below.
