Amitoi PvP, Tree Decorating, And Pesky Gift Goblins: Time For The Holidays In Throne And Liberty
Make sure to track down those pesky gift goblins, too.
More snowy festivities in the world of MMORPGs announced. This time, Amazon Games and NCSoft are dropping holiday cheer into the world of Throne and Liberty with the return of the Startree Solstice event. That said, it really isn't just a single event. There's multiple ways for you to celebrate, and multiple rewards to be had.
First up, the PvP side of things. Snowdrift Island, an event-only zone, is hosting arena challenges. You'll be changing into an Amitoi and blasting others in a 6v6 mode created specifically for the holidays. While there's rewards along the way, you'll want to play at least 10 times so you can pick up the max number of "Startree Wreaths," the event's currency.
If you're more of a lover not a fighter, head to decorated cities and get decorating that tree. You'll get letters of thanks from Amazon Games, NCSoft, or in-game characters, and earn various holiday food buffs and a player profile frame.
While you're decorating trees, hit up the one in your Amitoi house to spread the cheer. Your Amitoi also have special expeditions they can be sent on for additional loot.
Make sure you're taking on goblins that show up in the world. They're on the prowl for gifts. Make sure they don't find them and you'll end up with the rewards instead.
Hit up the full post on the event to check out additional cash shop sale offers and get a look at the event's pass. The events run from December 12th through January 9th.
