Aion Classic's "Wrath Of The Storm" Update Is Now Available, Brings New Dungeons, Improvements To Siel's Aura, And Events
Players will be glad to know that this update is jam-packed with content and changes.
NCSoft has released quite the beefy patch notes for Aion Classic's 2.4 Update: "Wrath of the Storm," which brings new instance dungeons, improvements to Siel's Aura, events, and many more additions. The patch is now available to download for Aion Classic players.
The new instance dungeons: "Araka," "Unyielding Beshmundir Temple," and "Abyssal Splinter" require players to be level 50+ and vary in party size. For Araka, its entry location is Elyos - Inggison Outpost or Asmodian - Gelkmaros Defense Post. The dungeon sends players inside a farm to stop Surama from becoming a Dragon Lord and maintaining the stable supply of resources for the Tiamat army.
Unyielding Beshmundir Temple involves battling the once imprisoned Stormwing in another dimension and drops new ghoulish-blue Unyielding Weapons for the trouble. Lastly, Abyssal Splinter demands players to venture inside another Abyss dungeon, filled with mutated enemies that obey an artifact guardian. All dungeons can be entered once a week and reset every Wednesday.
Those struggling to receive the discounted price for Siel's Aura will gain added time to their accounts today. Seven days for 30 Day subscribers and 21 days for 90 Day contributors. Alongside the extensions are overall changes to the pricing and benefits players gain. Siel's Aura has seen a reduced subscription price of over 30% and eliminated penalties like 50% to the now 100% EXP rate for the Free Trial. Improvements to the benefits give players double the experience gain and increase Kinah and Abyss point acquisition.
As for the events available, players can get started with "Empyrean Lord's Blessing" today. Those that log in and complete timed surveys during the event up to October 26 will receive Fragmented Blessings Shards. Eventually, players can earn a Black Aliu's Egg that hatches a permanent pet with 21 pouches. On October 5, an EXP/AP Double Boost event will kick off so you can start racking up levels, ending on October 16.
