Aion Producer’s Letter Talks Anniversary, Server Mergers, Classic Updates, And More
There’s a lot going on in the world of Aion at the moment.
Aion, the first Aion not Classic, is turning 12 next week and yes, NCSoft has stuff planned. In fact, according to the recent Producer’s Letter, they have even more planned than usually takes place. Although, not everything has been outlined yet. What we do know is that between now and September 21 players who defeat 20 of the opposing faction in Inggison or Gelkmaros will receive a gift box containing 12 gifts. But, that’s definitely not all because the anniversary celebration is scheduled to continue through October 20.
Among other things covered in the letter are the upcoming 8.0 update (non-Classic), which will add the new Apsaranta zone, the Oath system, and a level cap increase to 85. This follows the recent server merge in which Danarian joined Katalam.
As for Aion Classic, the 1.5 update is scheduled for next month and will add the Dark Poeta instance as well as Daevanian Quests. There may also be some QoL changes that stray from the original game.
