**Updated: Confirmed For KR Servers** Aion Might Be Getting A Classic Server
**UPDATE**
As of today, Aion Classic has been confirmed for Korean players. According to a video posted on the PlayNC YouTube channel, the classic server will launch with version 1.2 of the original game and offer a total of eight jobs as a result. The new server does require a subscription, but will apparently feature limited-time free-to-play events every five weeks -- with the server launch begining on November 11.
The announcement video is available here. Since this is just for the Korean server (and we're not sure if it will be making its way west or not) the video is -- of course -- in Korean. And YouTube does a terrible job of translating it. Luckily, there's also a post on the Aion subreddit that covers the details as well.
Original Post - October 26
Alright, so this is a "we heard it through someone who translated the Korean site" thing -- and that someone was reddit. At any rate, it seems that Aion may be getting a classic server, and possibly soon -- at least if you're in Korea. The page the article points to mentions something vague about Daeva memories becoming reality and provides a date of October 28.
Of course, as they point out, this could be something else entirely. Perhaps there's some sort of time travel update on the way? The good news is, there's only two days left until we find out.
