Micro transactions is over killing the Good games that come out on the market then boom the game get shut down. There are lots of games that went pay to win in it state. I hate to tell the truth about these company are getting away with crime in there hand and it only to get worse down the line.

Micro trans actions are fully over loaded in F2P n' any games in tablet & phone form.
Its incredible the amount of forced pop ups & slide of hand ads that to young person look like game play! but are shop buy now!
it is rampant and needs curbing NOW!
Come on governments the kids are the ones using dad n mums phone n tablets just to keep them quiet & hitting those pay buttons by being naive.

In B&S China:

1) The queue line for getting into the game is +1000 / 2 hours. Pay $$$ to be VIP and get instant access.
2) Each player has a small amount of special stamina for questing and getting experience per day. Once the stamina is used up, the player can not gain experience until the next day. Pay $$$ to get more stamina per day.
3) The game is extremely laggy regardless of the ISP or internet speed. Don't worry! They have official legal third party program called accelerator only for $4.99 / month!!!

It's really an issue outside of Free-to-play games. Micro-transactions are seemingly the backbone of free-to-play monetization. The Freemium system is okay at best but by itself, it simply isn't enough. The extreme instances, like the kid racking up the $700+ in Micro-transactions, is not an issue with Micro-transactions but parental negligence.

This is really a problem within paid games. It's bad enough that some triple A games are being released with micro-transactions built in, but some games require an initial payment as well as a sub to play, then tack on micro-transactions to seal the deal. That, is despicable and a sure sign of desperation.

P2w is fine. I pay over 1k in nt game I touch. I just need one week leveling. I pwn free loaders and dominate all. I play a game working as intended if you pay out. Go cry you broke. You broke = ur gaming experience is broke. What geh world you live in thinking you only pay to say "thanks for cool game". Nah scrub. You pay day one just till you shaking hands with CEO. Get on this lvl or gtfo.

The Kid has to be REALLY Special to think his Father would believe him. He knew what he was doing.

As for Micro-transactions going over board, I'd say it's not the F2p games that are going overboard but the games you actually have to Pay for that end up Adding Micro-transactions that go over board.
