NCSoft and Amazon Games bring the F2P MMORPG to a global audience, but will they like it?
The company says Wayfinder will move forward, but we're a bit doubtful at this point.
Will it offer more than just an updated nostalgia hit?
1) Browser game is stable and rocks decent graphics for browser game. So many interactive elements. Door handles turn, bread can be broke down to smaller pieces for consumption. etc etc.
If you are a WoW child (most people here, so I am preaching ot the choir, I know...) gtfo, this game will not satisfy your "has to be flashy or I cant do it". The action animations, spells, are all fine. Not over the top, but satisfieng enough to enjoy combat.
2) Combat. Although tab, actually works better and smoother than 80% of the tap targeters out there. I had fun swapping hot bars out for attacks. That and you are given all attacks up front to "test out", and then you build as you go.
3) Class building is best hybrid mulitclass system I ran across. Sort of acts like RIFT but more logical and free and gives it that sandboxish feel.
4) Intelligent design, no kill the rats till level 50.
Only down side, it is not as open as a sandbow as it could be. It just has more liberal RPG elements than most games. We can manupulate the environment as much as I Would like (break tress, houses, and building stuff etc. Just a robust class and craft system. Also, small negative, population small since new game. But friendly community.
Really, after having a level cap in all mmorpgs on the market right now...They bore me or are lame. SO this game is really the only game I have installed for online play (Forced to replay old snes and PS1 rpgs since the markets garbage.) and since I installed nothing...I win x2. MOre disk space for my emulators XD
Well, no, just no for this game...
Ew.
