Riot was also hacked and some source code is being held for ransom, Blizzard wants to know if you'd pay a Hearthstone subscription, and what the hell is going on with The Day Before now? It's put itself in like with Warframe, but can it compete?
QotW: The last MMO I was ultra hyped for, and got burned on....MAJORLY...was ArcheAge. A more realism graphic open world MMO...have land, make trades for money, play what seemed a compelling story. I was stoked as I read about it.
And then I was a lucky dog and got into the Alpha build and was even more stoked. I knew a wipe was coming before launch, didnt care. Loved what I had seen, loved the perks of the founders pack (never got it), was all in.
No amount of hate mail could truly capture the WTF TRION bait and switch shock we got. And I stuck with it for two years up to patch 3 I think hoping it would get back to what I was told it was going to be and what we experienced pre-release. Nope. To this day I never let myself get hyped for any new MMO. And I damn sure dont jump in day one on them anymore. I learned that lesson.
