There's a TON of news this week as Amazon Games announces that MMOs are back on the menu, boys! A new deal with Embracer group means work is beginning on a new Lord of the Rings (LOTR) based MMO and the New World team heads up the project as the VP throws a little smack at LOTRO. Overwatch 2 decided NOT to do the entire reason they gave for Overwatch 2 being a thing by ending the PvE plans they originally had, and Bloodhunt goes into maintenance mode! QOTW: I have no faith whatsoever when Amazon develop Lord of The Rings. Like Q said: Amazon seems to want everything under it belt ( New World, LoTR, Lost Protocal,...) and God know how many things they are planning and/or in progress of acquiring it . I want to give an example: League of legends ( LOL team), they are a game company with huge succeed to begin with and how long have it been since we heard about LOL MMO? We don't even see that game coming yet. Yah... Amazon making new LOTR MMO. Thanks but no thanks. I would rather is the "New genesis" ( PSO2 reference, remaster) treatment of the old LOTR MMO.
