Automaton Games, the development studio behind recently free-to-play shooter/horror game Deceit and the upcoming "1,000-person battle royale" title Mavericks: Proving Ground, is closing its doors.
Last week, we reported on the conflict between Improbable and Unity, which threatened to deep-six several games that were in development using Improbable's SpatialOS.
We've been covering SpatialOS since we first heard that Jagex was working with the new computing platform to develop a free-to-play game in 2017.
We've talked about SpatialOS a few times before on MMOBomb.
