About The First Descendant

The First Descendant is a free-to-play looter-shooter developed and published by NEXON. Like other popular games in the genre, players can choose from one of many "Descendants", each with their own unique set of abilities. Hit the world and take on challenges alone or in groups of up to 4 as you make your way through the PvE-only shooter. Wield ice, water, or any other element as you slay the Vulgus and reclaim your freedom.

The game is all about the grind. Farm up those weapons, open up other Descendants that you can change to whenever you feel like mixing up your playstyle, or according to what your group needs for its next material farm or mission.

Customize your loadout by gaining Ultimate Weapons, modules that adjust your stats, and even full armor sets that may come with set bonuses. You're able to make or unlock all Descendants through gameplay similar to how Warframe allows you to create all frames if you're willing to put in the time to get those materials.
