Kingshunt
Kingshunt isn't EXACTLY a MOBA, but it borrows so heavily from the genre that it's hard to put the game in any other category. Pick from one of 15 initial heroes and take to the battlefield in 5v5 lane-based competition.
You'll be capturing objectives, building towers, summoning minions to engage the enemy and more...see what I mean? Very MOBA-esque, however towers can do more than just spawn creeps. They can also heal allies, boost abilities, and even cast destructive spells of their own.
The spin comes in the third-person view (similar to SMITE and the defunct Paragon) and the meshing of melee combat and magic spells. The game's dark fantasy appeal certainly puts a new look on the genre even if the gameplay follows traditional formulas.
NOTE: This game is currently released in "Early Access" and initial Steam reviews are critical of the game maybe heading to Early Access a bit too early.
Disclosure: MMOBomb works closely with publishers and developers to offer a free and rewarding experience. In order to keep everything free to use we may sometimes earn a small commission from some partners. Find more info in our FAQ page.
