Originally called Delta Force: Hawk Ops before dropping the "Hawk Ops", Delta Force marks the return of the first-person shooter franchise that started in 1998. The newest iteration of the series sees the game becoming a free-to-play, team-based shooter with multiple game modes on both the PvE and PvP side of the fence.

Those looking to take on other players can jump into Delta Force's Warfare mode. Taking place in one of five maps at launch, Warfare sees large-scale combat take center stage in a 32v32 affair. In addition to customizing your weapons and loadout, you'll want to customize vehicles as well. These Warfare battles take place on land, air, and sea, and you'll want to make sure you play in a role that caters to your personal preferred playstyle.

If you are looking for smaller group content, squads of 3 can hop into Delta Force's Extraction Mode. Here, you'll be dropped behind enemy lines and it's up to you to gather valuables and extract. However, AI enemies, powerful bosses, and even other players are all aiming to take you down in the process.

If you're more of a PvE person, Delta Force will offer a campaign in January 2025 that is a revamped version of the Black Hawk Down campaign originally released in 2003.
